About From the Field
We recognize that knowledge translates to profit. Count on Spudman, its staff, University sources, Extension folks and consultants for the latest in-season news brought directly from your neighbor, a fellow grower, straight “From The Field.”
Through From the Field, Spudman will provide you with insight and learnings from various regions across the United States. We hope to provide you with fresh information regarding cultural and environmental concerns affecting potato growers, current production practices and trends that may, in turn, help you grow a more successful crop.
Soils, potato varieties, pests and weather may all vary from Idaho to Washington, from the upper Midwest to the East Coast, but in the end, all potato growers have the same objective: to provide a superior, quality product. Spudman is proud to bring you the stories of these growers.
